1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using BillZap, you agree to these Terms. You also agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA):

2. Eligibility

You must have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement under applicable law. If you use BillZap on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business.

3. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, BillZap grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the app on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms and Apple's Standard EULA.

4. One-Time Purchase and Billing

BillZap unlock is a one-time, non-recurring in-app purchase (currently $9.99) processed by Apple.

  • Billing and payment methods are managed by Apple
  • Taxes are calculated and collected by Apple per local law
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple per App Store policy

5. Your Data and Responsibility

You retain full ownership of invoice content and business data you create in BillZap. You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and completeness of invoices, tax entries, and business records you send to clients.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use BillZap to violate any law or regulation
  • Commit fraud or impersonate others
  • Infringe third-party intellectual property rights
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute BillZap (except as permitted by mandatory law)

7. No Legal, Tax, or Accounting Advice

BillZap is a software tool only. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory advice. You should obtain professional advice for compliance obligations in your jurisdiction.

8. Intellectual Property

BillZap, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the license granted above, all rights are reserved.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BillZap is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BillZap's total liability arising out of or related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app (currently $9.99). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable consumer law.

11. Consumer Rights (EU/EEA/UK and Other Jurisdictions)

If you are a consumer, mandatory rights under your local law remain unaffected. Where required, statutory conformity guarantees and remedies apply despite contrary wording in these Terms.

12. Termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use BillZap. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access where legally required or where you materially breach these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance, subject to mandatory law.

14. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction of the BillZap publisher, unless mandatory consumer law in your country requires otherwise. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK, you may bring claims in your country of residence as provided by law.
