- Richly is a personal finance application for iOS that helps you track your assets, manage your liabilities, and monitor your net worth. It uses a local-first approach, storing your financial data on your device to ensure privacy and security.
- What platforms does Richly support?
- Richly is currently available for iOS devices including iPhone and iPad. It requires iOS 15 or later.
- Do I need to create an account?
- No, Richly does not require account creation. You can start using the app immediately after installation without providing any personal information.
Features
- What types of assets can I track?
- You can track any type of asset including bank accounts, investment accounts, real estate, vehicles, precious metals, cryptocurrencies, and any other valuables you own.
- How does net worth calculation work?
- Your net worth is calculated automatically by subtracting your total liabilities from your total assets. The app updates this calculation in real-time as you add or modify your financial data.
- Can I track multiple currencies?
- Currently Richly supports tracking assets in your primary currency. Multi-currency support is planned for a future update.
Privacy & Security
- Where is my data stored?
- Your financial data is stored locally on your device first. This means your information stays private and under your control. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is also stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's secure infrastructure.
- Does Richly collect my financial data?
- No, Richly does not collect, access, or transmit your financial data to any external servers. Your data stays on your device and optionally in your iCloud account if you enable sync.
- Is my data encrypted?
- Yes, all data stored by Richly is encrypted both on your device and in iCloud (if sync is enabled).
iCloud Sync
- How does iCloud sync work?
- When you enable iCloud sync in settings, Richly will automatically sync your financial data across all your Apple devices signed in with the same iCloud account. The sync is automatic and secure.
- Is iCloud sync required?
- No, iCloud sync is completely optional. You can use Richly entirely offline with data stored only on your device.
- What if I don't want to use iCloud?
- That's perfectly fine. Richly works great without iCloud sync. Your data will be stored locally on your device and you'll still have access to all features.
Subscription & Billing
- How much does Richly cost?
- Richly costs $9.99 per year after a 3-month free trial for new users.
- How does the free trial work?
- New users automatically get 3 months of free access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. After the trial, you can choose to subscribe.
- How do I cancel my subscription?
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings on your device. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, find Richly, and select Cancel Subscription.
