At Richly, your privacy is our top priority. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS application.
Data Collection and Storage
Richly is designed with a local-first approach. This means all your financial data is stored primarily on your device. We do not collect, access, or transmit your financial information to any external servers owned or operated by us.
The app does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as email addresses, names, or phone numbers.
iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your financial data will be stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is:
- Stored in your personal iCloud storage space
- Encrypted in transit and at rest
- Only accessible by you through devices signed in with your Apple ID
- Subject to Apple's privacy policy and terms of service
We do not have access to your iCloud data. Apple manages the infrastructure and security of iCloud storage.
Analytics and Diagnostics
Richly does not use any third-party analytics services. We do not track your app usage, screen views, or interactions.
If you have enabled "Share iPhone Analytics" in your iOS settings, Apple may collect anonymized crash reports and performance data. This data is sent directly to Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy policy.
App Permissions
Richly may request the following iOS permissions:
- iCloud: Required only if you choose to enable iCloud sync
All permissions are optional and the app will explain why they are needed before requesting access.
Data Security
All data stored by Richly on your device is protected using iOS's built-in security features including encryption at rest.
We recommend enabling a device passcode and/or biometric authentication (Face ID or Touch ID) on your device to add an additional layer of security.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your financial data is stored on your device until you delete it. You can delete individual records or all data at any time within the app.
If you uninstall Richly, all locally stored data will be removed from your device. If you had iCloud sync enabled, the data will remain in your iCloud account until you manually delete it from another device with Richly installed or from your iCloud storage settings.
Children's Privacy
Richly is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
